José María Roldán has been Director General of Banking Regulation of the Bank of Spain and member of its Executive Board since October 2000. He is currently member of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS), and the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS). Since January 2009 he is the Chairman of the Standards Implementation Group (SIG, formerly the Accord Implementation Group).
